Given that both her character Egwene, and she have grown up in matriarchal households and are quite vocal about the issues around them, has the character stayed with her off-screen? "Definitely, especially the vocal part", she laughed. "I was at home the other day and my grandma was like, 'God, chill out'. So, yes, we both like to speak our minds. I think I've learned a lot from Egwene. She's a character that so many people have grown up with or have held close to their hearts over the years. That's what's so brilliant about this series - it has such a plethora of rich characters. Since last season, Egwene has become more complex, given everything she endured in season two. This time, audiences can expect a softer yet stern and more observant Egwene."

The actress continued, "This season, I've really enjoyed leaning into the world of the Aiel, their culture, and dreamwalking. That's something that Egwene is really thrust into. Robert Jordan's appreciation for different cultures makes the world feel that much larger. As an actor, stepping into a world so rich with culture, magic and lore is a dream."
With so many strong, powerful women in The Wheel of Time, if she could team up with any globally popular heroines, who would be on her dream team? "The person that's coming to mind at the moment is Lisa Vanderpump from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, just because we've all been talking about Housewives recently! So I'm going to say if I could have Lisa Vanderpump and one of her small dogs, that would be great."
