Anushka Sharmaâs Bulbbul Trailer Will Leave you Intrigued

Anushka Sharma is back with yet another mind boggling story titled Bulbbul. Directed by lyricist Anvita Dutt, the film exudes an eerie vibe that takes you through the metamorphosis of an innocent protagonist into a witch. Set in the early 20th century Bengal, the film stars Avinash Tiwary, Tripti Dimri, Rahul Bose, Parambrata and Pauli Dam. 

With the tone set to perfection with this trailer, Bulbbul, with it’s jarring pink and red tones, dimly-lit scenes and a story revolving around witchcraft leaves you confused and looking for answers within the two minutes. This is also the second time Avinash and Tripti are working together after Imtiaz Ali’s Laila Majnu and the two share a comfort on-screen that is visible in this spooky trailer. 

After projects like NH10, Pari and Pataal Lok, we are aware of Anushka’s interest in unconventional stories and gripping narratives and Bulbbul’s trailer fits the bill so far.
