The coronavirus has brought life around the world to a complete standstill. People are forced to perform self isolation and social distancing since the virus is extremely contagious. With everyone locked down in their homes, the popular boy band, Backstreet Boys, attempted to lift the spirits of people in a rather unique manner.
Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter, Brian Littrell and AJ McLean came together on Saturday night to perform their 1999 hit I Want It That Way as a part of Fox star's ihHeartRadio's 'Living Room Concert for America', the first major benefit concert to provide relief and support for Americans impacted by COVID-19. The members of the band sang from their homes amidst the coronavirus lockdown. The musical was created to pay a tribute to the medical professionals, who are working tirelessly to help their fellow citizens.
Elton John hosted the special show with performances from other stars like Billie Eilish, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Sam Smith, Dave Grohl, Camila Cabello, Tim McGraw, H.E.R., Green Day's Joe Armstrong and more.
