2019 has been a great year for Bollywood. There were several big hits with content, entertainment and powerful performances impressing the audience. The year has had a lot of blockbusters and one such film is War. The film is still going strong at the cash counters in its second week and we can't help but praise everyone attached to the film for their success. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, the project has become the highest opener of all time for Hrithik, Tiger as well as Yash Raj Films. Now, the film is aiming to achieve another goal at the box-office and that is to become the highest grosser of 2019.
Only a couple of crores away from Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh (lifetime business of Rs 278.25 crore), War is currently the second highest grosser of 2019. During its first week the film collected Rs 238.35 crore followed by Rs 7.10 crore on its second Friday, Rs 11.20 crore on Saturday and Rs 13.20 crore on Sunday making the total a gigantic Rs 271.65 crore. With only a few steps left for War to become the highest grossing film of 2019, we congratulate the entire team for their massive success.
