The trailer for The Vvaan is finally out and dives further into the narrative, exploring some backstory before all hell breaks loose.
The Vvaan is set to be Ektaa Kapoor’s next charge into the world of mystery and Indian folklore. Following the success of her previous co-production, Bhoot Bangla, it is set to bring back the horror template in a forest setting.
Featuring the first-time pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the trailer begins with Sidharth lying about having no leaves for a Chhath pooja journey to commence a Goa trip with his friend. Eventually, the couple and his friend find themselves in the heart of a village that worships the forest goddess Vvaan Devi.

The trailer features a blend of mystery, action, adventure, romance, and humour combined with rich Indian folklore around a forest where one strict rule needs to be abided by. The rule is that no one shall set foot in the forest after midnight.
The Vvaan is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with TVF and 11:11 Production. Under the direction of Deepak Mishra and with writing by Arunabh Kumar, there is much to look forward to. Also part of the crew are Manu Anand as the Director of Production and the visual director, along with producers Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari. The other talented cast members include Sunil Grover and Maniesh Paul, among more.

Just a few months back, the official comic book titled The Legend of Vvan was released as a special-edition graphic novel. This further expands on the fantasy tale, acting as the prequel to the story in The Vvaan. This was created by Alok Sharma and Saumin Patel, who directly sourced story elements from the film creators themselves.
