Set deep inside the mysterious Mathikettan Solai forest, Photographer follows an ambitious photographer whose obsession with capturing a rare phenomenon leads him into dangerous territory. Directed by Abdul Basith Syed, the film stars Ashraf, Janani Samathanam and Karunakaran.

DC (August 7)

Arun Matheswaran directs this gritty action drama that also marks Lokesh Kanagaraj's acting debut. The film follows Devadas, an outcast who joins forces with his friends to protect an innocent family from a brutal police officer while seeking justice and redemption. Wamiqa Gabbi and Sanjana Krishnamoorthy play pivotal roles alongside Lokesh.

Magudam (August 14)

Vishal wears multiple hats as both director and leading man in Magudam. The action drama centres on a father who is forced to confront his violent past when powerful gangsters threaten his son. Dushara Vijayan, Anjali and John Vijay play important roles in the film.

Vishwanath and Sons (August 14)

One of the month's biggest releases, Vishwanath and Sons stars Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, a veteran international pistol shooter attempting to revive his career while juggling family responsibilities and an unexpected age-gap romance. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film also features Mamitha Baiju and Raveena Tandon.

Hi (August 14)

Nayanthara and Kavin team up for the first time in lyricist-turned-director Vishnu Edavan's romantic drama. The story follows two individuals with completely different perspectives on love whose lives become intertwined, forcing them to reconsider everything they thought they knew about relationships.

Modha Rathiri (August 21)

A wedding night spirals into complete chaos as hidden secrets come to light in Modha Rathiri. Directed by Raja Karuppasamy, the film stars Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar in a story packed with twists that unfold over the course of a single night.

Karathey Babu (August 28)
