Zenofar Fathima Returns To Filmmaking With The Reel Files Season 4

After her debut in podcasting with Real Talk With Zen, Zenofar Fathima returns to directing as The Reel Files Season 4 expands its psychological horror universe with an intriguing new cast. After many episodes of connecting with audiences through thoughtful conversations on the podcast, filmmaker, actress, and entrepreneur Zenofar Fathima is returning to her primary focus: directing. As the founder of Zen Film Productions, Fathima is stepping back into the director’s chair for The Reel Files Season 4, continuing her horror anthology series known for blending suspense with emotionally resonant storytelling.

As a director, Zenofar has consistently approached horror as a vehicle for exploring human behavior, personal fears, and the complexities of everyday life. Rather than relying solely on traditional genre conventions, her work focuses on psychological tension, moral ambiguity, and the unsettling realities hidden beneath familiar situations. This approach has helped shape a distinctive creative voice that balances atmosphere with substance.

While her podcast showcased her ability to engage with entrepreneurs and entertainers through meaningful dialogue, filmmaking remains the medium through which she most fully expresses her vision. Her return to directing marks an evolution of those conversations, bringing questions about identity, fear, and human nature into a cinematic space.

Season 4 features an unexpected lineup of personalities making their foray into narrative horror. International star Abdu Rozik, known for his work in music, boxing, and television, will appear in a role that departs from the warmth and charisma he is widely known for. His participation was made possible with the support of his management team, JGITL.

Also joining the anthology is Emirati content creator and Chai with Ahmad host Ahmad Al Marzooqi. Making his acting debut, Al Marzooqi steps into a suspense-driven role that marks a shift from his public persona. To prepare, he has been taking acting tips from celebrity friends including Kriti Sanon, Aditya Seal, and Vivian Dsena. He was also recently seen in a high-production promotional campaign for Netflix’s Stranger Things. Entrepreneur and Dubai Bling personality Ebraheem Al Samadi, best known for the Forever Rose brand, also joins the guest cast, exploring a darker and more mysterious side of performance in his first scripted role.

The series continues its tradition of drawing horror from contemporary life, such as the dangers of digital self-image and the influence of viral trends. Season 4 expands this scope, delving into themes of perception, vulnerability, and the consequences of decisions made in moments of fear. Each story is designed to provoke reflection as much as suspense.

Beyond The Reel Files, Zenofar is developing a black comedy project starring Abdu Rozik and Ebraheem Al Samadi as charismatic conmen. The concept was conceived during an episode of Real Talk With Zen before evolving into a scripted production—a rare instance of a podcast conversation directly inspiring a film project.
