As per reports on People, Sydney Sweeney and Jonathan Davino have called it quits. The report mentioned that the actress was overwhelmed with her relationship and wedding planning. It made her realise that she isn’t ready to settle down. Their long engagement reportedly lasted because calling it off was a difficult decision. Sweeney wants to focus on her career at the moment.

So far, neither Sweeney nor Davino has opened up about the news.

After Anyone But You, Sydney Sweeney has signed multiple projects. The actress is set to star in the psychological thriller film by Paul Feig, The Housemaid. She has also signed the live-action adaptation of The Masque of the Red Death with Charlie Polinger writing and directing. Sweeney also has Colmo Domingo’s Scandalous and US boxer Christy Martin’s sports biopic.

Sydney Sweeney is all set to return for the next season of Euphoria. She will join co-stars Zendaya, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer and more. Filming for the third season is underway. Zendaya and Alexa were seen shooting at a cafe recently.

Sydney and Jonathan sparked romance rumours back in 2018 after they made several public appearances at industry events. They kept their relationship private for the longest time. The two got engaged back in 2022. Their split comes after seven years of being together.

Sydney is being linked with her Anyone But You co-star Glen. The actress has clarified dating rumours on multiple occasions. Explaining that she leaned into it to promote the film, she shared that it was fun to give fans something to speculate over. In an interview, she shared that it was the craziest rumour since she produced the rom-com along with Jonathan. Recently, she attended Powell's sister's wedding, further fuelling rumours.
