It has been a week since Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aaryan released in theatres. The film opened to good numbers and with people flocking to the theatres. The long Diwali weekend worked in its favour as well. Despite releasing on the same date as Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, the film has done good business and has now entered the Rs 150 crore club at the Indian box office.
The film earned Rs 35.5 crore on Day 1, making it the third highest opener this year. It maintained momentum on its first weekend as well. On Day 7, the horror comedy earned Rs 9.31 crore taking the Hindi net box office collection to Rs 158.06 crore approximately. Worldwide the film has churned Rs 227 crore. With the weekend around the corner, the film has a chance of getting back on its foot.
Kartik Aaryan reprises his role as Ruhan aka Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film sees Vidya Balan returning to the franchise as Manjulika and new entrants Madhuri Dixit Nene and Triptii Dimri. The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yada, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalesar, Rajesh Sharma and Manish Wadhwa in key roles.
