Nicholas Galitzine, best known for Red, White & Royal Blue and The Idea of You, is set to play He-Man. He will star in the upcoming live-action film, Masters of the Universe.As per reports, the film will be directed by Travis Knight who is known for films like Bumblebee, Kubo and the Two Strings and more. The film is expected to release on June 5, 2026.
The Masters of the Universe film is a long-delayed project. Talks of an adaptation have been doing the rounds for a while now with several directors including John Stevenson, Jon M. Chu and more attached to the project since 2007. Earlier, Kyle Allen was attached to star as He-Man.
The news of Nicholas Galitzine’s casting comes after the actor made waves with his performance in the rom-com The Idea of You in which he starred alongside Anne Hathaway. He is also set to appear in the sequel of Red, White & Royal Blue.
