Alia Bhatt and designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee recently attended Met Gala 2024 from India. While the two did not walk the red carpet together, they posed for a jovial photo with other members from their individual glam teams.

Alia took to social media to share the picture. She captioned it as, "Team work METs the dream work." The actress wore a saree from Sabyasachi's collection this season. "Creating this has been quite an experience… fun and stressful in equal parts. It has taken a collective effort of 163 dedicated individuals, including master craftspeople, embroiderers, artists, and dyers, investing a total of 1965-man hours to create this ethereal saree," she mentioned in her post about the fashion event.
While fans did not expect Sabyasachi to walk the red carpet as well, he became the first Indian designer to do so. He wore a white shirt, beige pants, and an embroidered cotton duster coat from his Sabyasachi Resort 2024 collection.
