The star-studded event honouring King Charles III's coronation, held on Sunday in Windsor, England, undoubtedly featured Katy Perry as its highlight. A tiger's face lit up above Katy as she performed her smash song Roar for 20,000 guests while sparkling in a golden ball gown.
She also gave a performance of Firework, another of her hits, which she gave to King Charles III. "Thank you for bringing out the fireworks for so many young people," she said. Kate Middleton and Prince William's daughter Princess Charlotte were spotted singing along with Katy among the crowd. While Katy performed on stage, the UK flag was seen being waved by the audience.
Several people reacted to a video of Princess Charlotte singing along with Katy on Twitter. In addition to Katy, Lionel Richie also performed on stage while being applauded by the monarchs. At the event, Sonam Kapoor presented other choir performers from the Commonwealth while giving a spoken word performance. She was seen wearing a stunning white gown.
