Vicky Kaushal had entered Bollywood as a lanky and lean actor but today after doing a dozen of films, he’s transformed into a beast.
He has graced the cover of Grazia this month and the actor looks uber cool in his casual avatar. Speaking to the magazine, he pointed out that when a role demands him to have a physical transformation, he goes all out. Stating the example of Uri, Vicky Kaushal says that he had transformed from a 74-kilo ectomorph to an 86-kilo Indian Para Commando by working out twice a day. “Aditya (Dhar, the director) told me categorically: ‘Vicky, if I take a picture of you and 20 others in uniform, I want to be convinced that you’re the leader of the group’.”
The actor further states that for his next The Immortal Ashwatthama where he plays a superhero, he needs to put on some more weight. “Transforming physically transforms me mentally. I don’t push my body to its limits just to be vain, I genuinely feed off the confidence that comes from being in command of my own physicality. It helps me perform better as an actor, especially when delivering my dialogues,” says the actor.
Well, whether it’s the roles or just his love for fitness, the new beefy avatar of Vicky Kaushal is loved by all and his female fans can’t stop gushing about the transformation.
