The horror-comedy genre has gained some serious popularity in recent times. So, quite obviously, there was a lot of hype surrounding Rajkummar Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma starrer Roohi. In the last few days, the makers have been teasing fans with posters and now, they have finally released the film’s trailer.
Considering the film is backed by the makers of the popular horror-comedy Stree, expectations from the public were obviously quite high. After watching the film’s trailer, we can safely say that the public is in for another treat. The film revolves around a girl named Roohi (Janhvi Kapoor) who is abducted by two men (Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma). However, things take a twist when they realize she is no ordinary woman but is someone who is haunted by a ghost. The trailer is sprinkled with funny moments throughout and it looks like the audience will have ample entertainment once the film hits screens.
Roohi is the directorial debut of Hardik Mehta and is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films.
