After Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik and Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda’s arrest yesterday in relation to a drug angle in the case, a third arrest has been made by the Narcotics control Bureau. Sushant’ staff member, Dipesh Sawant was called in for questioning after the first two arrests and he was later remanded by the NCB.
While Showik and Samuel have been taken in till September 9 and will be taken to court for a proper hearing, Dipesh is set to be produced at court tomorrow at 11am for his hearing. NCB’s deputy director, KPS Mehrotra confirmed the arrests and also stated that no drugs were found on Showik Chakraborty but he is involved in the case along with Samuel and Dipesh. He further added that NCB is investigating the case independently and has no relation with the probe done by the CBI.
The involvement of the NCB started when 59gms of Marijuana was found on Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora who had close connections with people involved in Sushant’s case.
