Recently, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was accused of sexual harassment by Payal Ghosh. The actress took to Twitter and recalled the incident that allegedly took place years ago and revealed that Kashyap forced himself on her.
Now, the Mumbai Police has issued a summon to Kashyap to appear before them on Thursday at 11 am. The summon has come after Ghosh met with Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and the state governor in the last two days. The actress has demanded the arrest of the filmmaker and claimed that Mumbai police is not acting on the matter with urgency since he is an influential person.
Ramdas Athawale has claimed that if no strict action is taken soon, his party will begin protesting regarding the same.
