His last release was Chhichhore with Shraddha Kapoor where he played the role of a father who makes his son understand that committing suicide is not a solution to any problem. The film was a big hit and even entered the 100 crore club. However Chhichhore was Sushant’s last release film as his next movie, Dil Bechara was postponed. The film was set for a May release but due to the pandemic the makers have decided to release it directly on an OTT platform. However Sushant’s fans don’t want to miss an opportunity of watching him on the big screen one last time. Trending the hashtag #DilBecharaOnBigScreen the fans have requested to avert the digital release for a theatrical one.
Dil Bechara is the remake of Hollywood film, The Fault In Our Stars and is directed by Mukesh Chhabra. This is the casting director’s first directorial project. We will have to wait and watch if the makers change the decision and give it a big-screen release when the lockdown is over.
