Malayalam script writer and filmmaker K.R. Sachidanandan also known as Sachy took his last breath today. Sachy who was 48-years-old was admitted in the hospital two days back as he suffered cardiac arrest, which had cut off blood supply to his brain.
Sachy had made his directorial debut in 2015 in the Malayalam film industry with Anarkali. Moreover his last release Ayyappanum Koshiym was a huge hit at the box-office starring Prithviraj and Biju Menon. The film is so loved by everyone that its Hindi, Tamil and Telugu remake is already on cards.
Sachy hailed from Kodungallur and was also a practicing lawyer at the Kerala High Court. He was always passionate about theatre right from his college days. He had even co-scripted films with Sethu such as Robinhood (2009), Makeup Man (2011), Seniors (2012), Chocolate (2017). His untimely death is surely a huge loss for the Malayalam film industry.
