In real life, our Indian forces are putting up a brave front at the borders facing various dangers and threats, on reel filmmakers want to replicate several such incidences and at times tell us a fictional tale too. While Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl is based on real story of the first Indian Air Force woman officer who went to war, Ronnie Screwvala is planning a fictious-drama against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force.
Today in an interview with a daily, Ronnie Screwvala revealed his plans for this film. After backing Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike, the producer now wants to back another similar project which will be headlined by Kangana Ranaut. When asked about this project titled Tejas, here’s what he had to say, “We wanted to make a film on the army so Uri happened. Tejas is not a sequel to Uri, because that was a true story and this isn’t. but it is on the same lines and on the same scale.” Now we can’t wait for yet another gritty drama.
Kangana Ranaut always picks challenging roles and we can’t wait to watch her in a film against the backdrop of the Indian Air Force. The Queen actress was last seen in Panga and won great response for her performance. She’s currently in Himachal with her family spending quality time with them amidst the pandemic.
