Koi…Mil Gaya (2003) had created a stir in Bollywood at the time of its release as it gave India its first-ever alien friend. The Hrithik Roshan-Preity Zinta starrer was a blockbuster. And the character of the alien, Jadoo, became a hit among the audience.
A fan of Hrithik, while watching the film, made an interesting observation about a similarity between Jadoo and Rohit (Hrithik’s character) in the film. He wrote on Twitter, “Watching #KoiMilGaya on TV and a weird observation. Was it a on- purpose decision to give an extra thumb to #Jadoo just like #RohitMehra (#HrithikRoshan), which was the major reason for the connect between the two characters? @iHrithik @RakeshRoshan_N (sic)."
Hrithik confirmed the information and wrote, “Yes. It was to help Rohit feel familiar. But we had to keep it subtle as the thumb didn’t look as great as I wanted :) you have a good eye my friend. Stay safe (sic).”
