Karan Johar reveals some truths about his upcoming venture Takht

The outbreak of the coronavirus has pushed several movie schedules indefinitely. From release dates to shootings, everything has come to a halt. In such times, it is easy for rumours about a film being shelved or pushed for an OTT release to float. One such rumour was that Karan Johar has collaborated with T-Series for a merged acquisition for the film Takht.

However, the story is completely false and Karan Johar confirmed it on Twitter. He tweeted saying, “News articles and speculations making the rounds about the acquisition of Takht are baseless and untrue! I would request media houses to focus on more relevant and critical issues that plague our country and refrain from incorrect reportage.”

Takht stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in crucial parts.
