If there’s one celebrity couple, that defines harmony and happiness, it’s Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. A-listers in their respective fields, the married duo has been spending quality time with each other during quarantine. Due to the ongoing 21-days lockdown in the country because of the outbreak of the coronavirus, a lot of daily wage workers have been left jobless. In such a situation and in a bid to contribute to the well-being of the needy and helpless, a lot of stars, including Akshay Kumar, have supported the PM-CARES Fund.
This fund will work towards implementing relief measures towards those hit by the outbreak of the coronavirus and the resultant lockdown. Virat and Anushka have also released a statement, saying they will be contributing to the PM’s fund. Anushka wrote, “Virat and I are pledging our support towards PM-CARES Fund & the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (Maharashtra). Our hearts are breaking looking at the suffering of so many & we hope our contribution, in some way, helps easing the pain of our fellow citizens. #IndiaFightsCorona.”
