Mrunal Thakur made her Bollywood debut with Love Sonia. She went on to do Super 30 opposite Hrithik Roshan, Batla House opposite John Abraham and even starred in Dharma Productions' Ghost Stories. She will soon be seen in Jersey, opposite Shahid Kapoor. In a recent interview, she revealed how she was scared to work with Shahid. Elaborating on her experience working with Shahid during Jersey, Mrunal shared, "I was so scared because during the initial days of any project you take some time to get into the character... It was difficult and I guess it was showing on my face too. During that time Shahid made me feel comfortable. He said, 'It's okay, even I am struggling. These are the initial days. It is all okay.' He also said, 'It is going to get easier, once we get into character, start living the journey and perform."
These words of encouragement and comfort helped in easing the way ahead for Mrunal. She added, "He’s such fun. He knows when it’s masti time and when it is working time. He’s so focused and talented. I am happy that I am sharing my screen space with him. I have Pankaj (Kapur) sir with me and Shahid on the other side. They are such fantastic performers. I learn a lot by sitting at the monitor and watching them." (Sic)
It'll be interesting to watch this fresh pair in Jersey, which is the official remake of the Telugu film with the same title.
