While everyone is trying to support the Government with all its initiatives during the Coronavirus pandemic, urging the people to stay at home, the good old channel, Doordarshan too has contributed in making people's home stay enjoyable. It has started a re-run of it's much popular tele series, Ramanand Sagar's classic, Ramayan and Mahabharat. Not just that, it has added to the public's joy by starting Circus, the 1989 serial starring Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from that, the popular detective series, Byomkesh Bakshi too will be aired on the channel.
While Ramayan and Mahabharat have been part of our routine back in the 80's, Circus too was a much popular show from the late 80's.
The entire family would get together in front of their TVs to watch these series when there were no mobiles or internet. And the government's decision to re-telecast these shows have got the fans all excited.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan began his career with television and now we will get to see him on television, once again as Circus is going to air on DD National from March 28, 2020.
Many channels are not able to telecast new episodes of their shows due to the halt of production process amid COVID-19 scare. They too have started showing old, classic shows to keep the audiences entertained.
Now isn't that a wonderful treat for all Shah Rukh Khan fans? We definitely think it is!
