1.Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl

Of late, we’ve seen plenty of films, which are based on strong female characters and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is another welcome addition to the list. Janhvi Kapoor plays the titular role of Gunjan Saxena, the very first female pilot in the Indian air force along with Srividya Rajan. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi and Vineet Kumar Singh.
2. Roohi Afzana
Release Date: June 5, 2020
Back in 2018, Rajkummar Rao starred in the horror-comedy Stree, which was a fresh genre for the Hindi film industry. Now, Janhvi Kapoor is teaming up with Rajkummar Rao for his second horror comedy titled Roohi Afzana. Even though we don’t know much about their characters, the film is based on a ghost, who abducts brides on their honeymoons. The film also stars the talented Varun Sharma in a pivotal role.

3. Dostana 2
Release Date: TBA
The Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham starrer, Dostana, was a film based on two men pretending to be gay out of desperation for a place to live. However, their one lie results in series of hilarious situations. While we don’t know much about the sequel, we expect it to be definitely entertaining. Along with Janhvi, Dostana 2 stars Kartik Aaryan and debutant Lakshya.

4. Takht
Release Date: 24 December 2021
The magnum opus Takht is a much-awaited film. Apart from featuring a stellar cast including Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor, the film also marks Karan Johar’s return to direction. Set in the Mughal era, Takht is a story about the enmity between brothers caused for the succession of the throne.
