Laal Singh Chaddha is Aamir Khan’s upcoming project and the official remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. The original dealt with a young boy with marginal intelligence and a physical disability influencing several important events across decades in American history. Laal Singh Chaddha too is based around a boy with similar disabilities, who takes us through the events of Indian history. Also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays Laal’s love interest, the film is currently underway its Chandigarh schedule.
We have already seen Aamir’s first look wearing a turban and sitting in a train. But the latest pictures will instantly take you back to Tom Hanks look from Forrest Gump. The look is strikingly similar to Hank’s look from his three-year- cross country run in the original film and makes you wonder about the plot of the remake.
