A story about twins who are separated at the time of their birth and go on to lead totally different lives was a big hit during its time. While one is tortured by her aunt, the other becomes a street performer, destiny takes a sharp turn when they switch their lives. Hema Malini did a double role in the film which late Sridevi gave a twist to in ChaalBaaz and now with Janhvi Kapoor stepping up her game, we think she would be an apt choice to take the tradition forward. 

Sapna - (Dream Girl)

This one is definitely the most iconic character of Hema Malini. The actress her loved title of Dream Girl from the film's name that was a massive success. The film revolves around Sapna, who cons people to fund an orphanage. The story is truly heart-touching and we feel that Anushka Sharma's acting prowess would come out in full-power if the stunner would ever step into the shoes of Sapna.

Hema Malini took on the role of Meera, who was shown as a Rajput princess madly in love with Lord Krishna, so much so that she believed that she is his wife. Essaying a part so pure yet full of emotions would be best suited for Deepika Padukone and her eyes that speak a thousand words we feel.
