Karan Johar’s much-loved film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (KKHH) has clocked 21 years and fans and well-wishers can’t stop sending love to the filmmaker and the cast & crew of the film. The film remains special for Karan as he marked his directorial debut with it and KKHH turned out to be a blockbuster. A 1998 release, the film featured Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles and resonated perfectly with the youth through its songs and iconic dialogues.
Celebrating film’s 21 years, KJo took to his social media handle to share an emotional post. He wrote, “Firsts are always special! Back then, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also bagged the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Shot in India, Mauritius, and Scotland, the film also featured Salman Khan, Sana Saeed, Farida Jalal, Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh and late Reema Lagoo in important roles. Even after all these years, KKHH continues to be the quintessential Bollywood film which continues to get the same amount of love.
