With commendable performances by Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim and a lot of praise from the critics, The Sky is Pink is doing great in the critics circuit but is witnessing a slow start at the ticket counters.
Opening with Rs. 2.50 crores, the film did not have a massive reception on day one, but collected approximately Rs. 4 crores on day two and added another Rs. 5 crores on day five. Starting decent on its first weekend, The Sky is Pink has now earned approximately Rs. 11.50 crores in three days at the ticket counters.
The film is facing tough competition from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War that is on a rampage with its box-office collection. Hollywood film Joker too has slowed down the collection of The Sky is Pink during its first weekend. But with War stepping into its third week and Joker restricted to very few screens, The Sky is Pink may see a growth in its collection in the coming days.
