Akshay Kumar says his bald look in Housefull 4 has no connection to Ranveers in Bajirao Mastani

The entire team of Housefull 4 including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday is busy promoting their comic caper. They even promoted it on wheels travelling together in a train from Mumbai to Delhi. On the Housefull train journey, the actors interacted with the media and shared some funny anecdotes from the film set. During the interaction, Akshay also spoke about his bald look being compared to that of Ranveer Singh’s from Bajirao Mastani.

Akshay said that he is not trying to imitate anybody and his look has no association with that of Ranveer's in Bajirao Mastani. He explained the backdrop of his character Bala from Housefull 4 disclosing that the character was born with long hair for which he was named Rajkumar Bala. His shahi mundan ceremony commenced at the age of two, which is a tradition in the Hindu culture. But after that, his hair never regrew and he remained bald for the rest of his life. His lack of hair filled his heart with hatred and he began killing people who had long hair.

The film also stars Rana Daggubati, Boman Irani, Johnny Lever, Jamie Lever, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and will hit the screens this Diwali on October 26.
