Maleficent, Angelina Jolie’s portrayal of the evil witch from Sleeping Beauty is one of her most cherished roles. Narrating the story from her side, the first installment of the film showcased why she used the sleeping curse on Aurora. The film ended with the two reconciling and coming together.
With the second part of the film all set to release, filmmakers were looking to expand the reach of this Disney film into the subcontinent. Roping in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to voice Jolie’s character in the Hindi version of the film, the audiences' eagerness for the film exponentially rose owning to the actress’ popularity. Aishwarya also dropped an enchanting teaser for the Hindi dubbed Maleficent 2 and caught everyone’s attention.
Giving a better glimpse into the world of the evil mistress, Aishwarya launched the Hindi trailer of the film today. Dark, delicious and hypnotising, Aishwarya’s voice makes Maleficent’s charm double for the Indian audience.
