Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s blazing chemistry was enough for people to flock to the theatres as their latest release Bharat hit the theatres on June 5. Along with that, performances of Sunil Grover and B-town hottie Disha Patani made it rather unmissable. After having a grand opening at the box-office Salman’s Bharat kept sailing through each day by raking in considerable amounts at the cash counters. Even though trade analysts predicted that the business of the film would be affected due to the Cricket World Cup, the film is a step away from crossing the Rs 200 mark at the box-office.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat earned Rs 3.75 crore on Friday followed by Rs 5.80 on Saturday, Rs 5.90 crore on Sunday, Rs 2.50 crore on Monday and Rs 2.25 crore on Tuesday during its second week at the box-office making the total Rs 199.30 crore. We say, get ready to take a bow team Bharat!
