Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi hit the theatres on January 25 and a week after its release the film’s box-office collections seem to have dropped. Though the film has received great reviews and is also being loved by the audience, moviegoers are still hooked to the idea of watching Vicky Kaushal’s Uri: The Surgical Strike which is currently in its fourth week. The box-office collection of Manikarnika on its second Friday is almost the same what Uri has earned on its fourth Friday.
Yesterday, Manikarnika earned Rs 3.50 crore at the box-office, while Uri earned just a little less than that as it raked in Rs 3.36 crore. As of today, URI has crossed the 175 crore mark and chances are high that the film will join the coveted Rs. 200 crore club. The film has already been declared a huge blockbuster.
