Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is a film based on the bravery and courage that Rani Laxmibai showed against the British. After an excellent first weekend, the film has managed to stay strong at the box-office on weekdays too, which has helped it draw close to the Rs 100 crore mark. At the end of its first week, the collections currently stand at Rs. 61.15 crore. The numbers throughout the week have been consistent and we expect the film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark pretty soon.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the box-office performance of the film on social media. His caption read, “#Manikarnika scores in Week 1... Co-directed by Krish and Kangana Ranaut, Manikarnika is a film that takes us through the life of the warrior queen played by the actress. The film also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Ankita Lokhande, Danny Denzongpa and Atul Kulkarni in pivotal roles.
