Mother-daughter duo, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya were spotted leaving for the States late last night. The two are off to Washington DC where the Women in Film and Television India Awards are to take place on September 8th. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be honoured with the first Meryl Streep Award for her contribution to the world cinema along with Zoya Akhtar who will receive the Wyler Award for Excellence in Director and Jahnvi Kapoor who will receive the WIFT Emerald Award for her debut in Dhadak. First of its kind, Aishwarya will receive the Meryl Streep Award for her two decades long contribution to Indian Cinema and Hollywood.
